Organic Cotton is grown from non treated seeds and never uses GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) seeds. Organic Cotton farmers rotate crops so that the soil is fertile. This creates increased amount of organic matter in the soil as compared to non organic crops. In turn, the soil naturally retains more water so that less irrigation is needed. Weeds are removed physically by people rather than by herbicides and other chemicals. Organic cotton crop growers do not use insecticides or aerial spraying for pest control so that we don't pollute our land and our environment with toxins. Our dyes are certified by the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 for textiles. This means that there are no harmful substances or toxins in our dyes or finished product. It is a natural and green choice. The Bamboo/Cotton Interlock fabric we use is so soft it`s unbelievable and it keeps getting softer the more it is washed. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable crops we can get fiber from. The raw material for this Bamboo comes from wild crops in non-polluted areas so it is naturally and organically grown and ecologically friendly. The dyes used are certified by Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 for textiles, which means that there are no harmful substances or toxins in the dyes or finished product. Our Bamboo/Cotton interlock has anti-bacterial and anti-UV properties.
